Kate Benson
Kate's professional experience is in newspaper journalism, particularly in photography and graphic design. Her interest in NEIDs resulted from two of her children developing these diseases. Kate's work in our organization is in educating patients and the public about these diseases through our Twitter account.

Laurie DeDecker, RN
Laurie has been a nurse since 1985, particularly focusing on research.  Laurie wants to educate medical professionals about neuro-endocrine-immune diseases. She gave an In-service presentation at a Michigan hospital in 2014. Laurie is on the Board of Directors.

Sandi Lanford
Sandi Lanford led the successful patient and advocacy nonprofit organization Lifelyme in Florida. She created a successful Florida medical conference that greatly enhanced local physician knowledge of NEIDs. Sandi's interest came from her own experience with Lyme and other infections. She wants to help with fund raising and connections with other Lyme disease organizations and medical professionals. Sandi also serves as one of our directors.

Teresa Dutmer

Teresa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Davenport University with a bachelor of business degree. In 25 years, Teresa rose from a teller to manager in the banking industry. Teresa struggles with fibromyalgia and other chronic pain. She has a special interest in informational conferences, awareness through health fairs and networking with foundations (for funding). In 2014, Teresa spoke to the public about NEIDS at a health fair and participated in the 2014 NEIDs Awareness Day project. She also serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors.
