CME in Ala. and Mich.

2013 in Alabama:
After our meetings with hospital administrators, St. Vincent's Health System in Alabama decided to sponsor a series of continuing medical education courses on NEIDs.

The first one occurred on May 7 and had 45 doctors and 24 others learning about ME/CFS from Harvard Medical School professor Dr. Anthony Komaroff.


2014 in Alabama:
As part of the CME series we asked St. Vincent's Health System to provide to their associated doctors, nurses and pharmacists, Dr. David McLain, a local rheumatologist, gave a presentation on what's new about fibromyalgia on January 14.

2007 in Michigan:
When we heard that the CFIDS Association of America and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were sending out ME/CFS professionals to do CME courses, we invited them to come to Michigan. Prof. Kenneth Friedman spoke to about 30 medical professionals and 150 patients about the disease.
