CEO and President
Lori worked as an intensive care unit charge nurse, youth group leader and volunteer for "at risk" teens. She became sick with ME/CFS and fibromyalgia in 2002. She was bedridden for four years and felt abandoned and mistreated by those in her own profession.
Lori became determined to help patients and envisioned a center of excellence for patients with similar illnesses. In 2006, she started a local support group in northwestern Michigan to help patients find solutions to managing their symptoms and develop a better quality of life.
In 2009, Lori moved to Grand Rapids and founded CFS Solutions of West Michigan, now the PANDORA Org Grand Rapids, Michigan Support Chapter, reactivating a previous support group. Lori has advocated for an interdisciplinary clinic for ME/CFS and other related illnesses, more research funding and physician education at the local, state and federal level. She also is the PANDORA Org Grand Rapids Chapter chapter facilitator. Lori serves as the CEO of the organization and as president of the Board of Directors.
